Young gardeners get excited about veggies!

One of my favourite things to do each spring is to spend some time working with kids and introducing them to the world of gardening and plants. This year was no exception, and in April, I did a presentation about vegetable gardening for the young gardeners in the Primrose Elementary School Eco Club. These young students really impressed me with their knowledge of gardening – they already have lots of experience growing a wide range of veggies in their school garden. We shared information about how to grow healthy veggies and ended with transplanting Big Beef Tomatoes and Marigolds for them to take home and plant in the school garden. Good luck with your garden this year kids!
