25 Peonies for 25 years!

25 special and unusual Peonies

Choose from our specialty Peony collection

As part of our celebrations to mark our 25th year in business, we had a brainwave to grow 25 special and unusual Peonies. The project has been a huge success and in our perennial house is an outstanding display of our 25 selected varieties. Peonies are very easy to grow – every garden should have one or more! Just grow in a full sun location and provide 2-3 feet of space per plant. All our varieties are hardy in this growing area. Peonies are long lived, spring blooming perennials, with large showy blooms in shades of pink, red, salmon, white or even the much sought after and very special yellow.

It’s almost impossible to pick a favourite, but Canary Brilliants, Yellow Crown and Cora Louise are definitely going to find a place in my garden this year! Our collection includes both herbaceous and intersectional varieties, and a range of flower types including single, Japanese, anemone, semi double, double and bomb double. For more information about peony classification, see peonies.org. We hope you will be as excited about this project as we are!
