Cool Season Veggies

Get your ‘Cool’ Veggies here!

We grow many cool season veggies including Cabbage, Cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts, Broccoli, Lettuce, Leeks, Onions, Arugula and Collard Greens. It is important to get these cool loving vegetables in the ground before it gets too hot. Although I try to select varieties that do well in our hot summers, cabbage, cauliflower and brocolli are particularly susceptible to heat and changes in temperature, especially when young. If they are not planted early, they may fail to develop properly. Plant young transplants as soon as you can work the ground. Come by soon to check out our varieties!
