We are very pleased and proud to announce that with the help of you – our loyal customers, we have raised $900 for the locally based NGO Water First. Ami Gopal, Director of Development for Water First visited the farm to collect a cheque for $900 from the farm’s owner, Katie Dawson and winning designer Kelly French.  The 2nd annual staff Hanging Basket Challenge once again turned out to be a massive success – for our staff, lucky winning customers and Water First. Hanging baskets were designed and planted by our staff in March, then for three weeks in May, customers purchased ballots to vote for their favourite basket, with a chance of winning it. The basket that received the most votes was designed and planted by Kelly French and she has chosen Water First to be the recipient of money raised.

Many thanks goes to our amazing youth volunteers Willow Cherewaty, Lexi Dodge, Zinnia Hehn, Carter Neale and Ben Martin, all of whom did a fantastic job of running the voting tent on weekends and encouraging you to vote!
