Spring colour for a shady spot
Don’t let the common name of Lungwort put you off this lovely perennial! Although the more ancient forms of Pulmonaria may have been used to treat ailments of the lung, the modern Pulmonaria varieties bring happy, early colour to the shady garden.
Pretty in Pink produces large bright rose pink flowers in large clusters on a plant that is low and wide. Foliage is attractive – dark green with silver speckles. Plant in full to part shade and ensure adequate moisture. This plant is a great way to attract all those wonderful early pollinating insects to your garden and is not tasty to rabbits and deer!
